Meet Ben. Ben is 72 years old and the sole caretaker of his disabled adult son. He started attending Crossfit in order to build & maintain the strength he needed in order to be able to pick his son up out of his wheelchair regularly. Everyday he is in the gym cracking jokes and attempting whatever is thrown at him-regardless of his ability. Here he is squatting 115lbs! He is the sweetest man I’ve ever met and my favorite gym buddy. So for all of you thinking “I can’t”, “I won’t”, “Its too hard” or “What’s the point?” - Find a reason. Find a reason to live the best life that you can. Your health is more important than simply looking good in a bikini. Your life, and in some cases the lives of others, depends on it. If Ben can do it, than so can you!
So motivational.
seriously considering filling my pockets with glitter and whenever someone near me says something really stupid or rude i’ll just reach into my pocket with a dead expression and release the glitter into the sky above their head and watch it shower over them like a baptism of stupid
lol. Too messy. But awesome nonetheless.

: that describes ME today.

Vegetable Gimbap (Korean Vegetable Rice Rolls). This on-the-go dish is über healthy but tastes oh so decadent…RECIPE

Breakfast this morning was extremely decadent. I’m still full from it. I made a bowl of peppermint mocha oatmeal topped with chocolate chips. It was so freaking good and it reminded me of Christmas and Starbucks’ peppermint mocha latte. MAKE THIS NOW if you know what’s good for you. Already had breakfast? Make it for lunch! It’s just so dang good. I honestly can’t believe it’s only ~245 calories, including the chocolate chips.
- 1/2c old fashioned rolled oats
- 3/4c water
- 1/4c almond milk
- 1 instant coffee packet
- 2-3 stevia packets
- 1T cocoa powder
- 1/4t peppermint extract
- pinch of salt
- 1T semi-sweet chocolate chips
Bring the water to a boil, then add the almond milk, instant coffee, stevia, and mix until combine. Then add the oats and let the oats thicken up a little. Then add the cocoa powder, peppermint extract, and salt. Let the oatmeal cook until desired. Pour into a bowl and top with chocolate chips!
: tomorrow!
